Mr Lam Van Hung (Henry)
Chief Executive Officer and acting Chairman
Mr Lam, a resident of Vietnam, was born in Vietnam and came to Australia in 1977 and studied electrical engineering. He resides in Vietnam and is responsible for the group’s operations in Vietnam. He was awarded the “Red Star” at the end of 2000, the first overseas Vietnamese to receive this, for his contribution to the economy of Vietnam. In 2015, he received the Third Class Labour award and again, in 2010 he was awarded the “Second Class Labour Medal”. He has not been a director of any other publicly listed company in the last three years. Mr Lam is a director and shareholder of Corbyns International Limited, the Company’s ultimate holding company.
Mr Alan Alexander Young
Mr Young held the position of Managing Director (Chief Operating Officer) until 23 March 2015 when he resigned from all his executive positions with the Group and moved to a non-executive director capacity. He commenced his business career in the financial industry and was engaged for several years in banking and finance. For the past 38 years, he has been involved in the administration of public companies, previously in the resource sector. Mr Young is a Board member of all the Group’s operating subsidiaries in Vietnam and has devoted all of his time to VII for the past 22 years. He has not been a director of any other publicly listed company in the last three years. Mr Young is a director of Corbyns International Limited.
Mr Henry Han Kee Thong
Independent Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary (appointed on 21 May 2020)
Henry Thong FCPA MBA GAICD joins VII with over 20 years experience in finance management and governance. He has successfully run his own consulting practice Keystone Advisors for several years and provided his clientele with executive support in the area of financial management, governance and strategy across a variety of industries. Henry has held Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretarial roles with ASX listed companies in the past.
Mr Brendan Grylls
Independent Non-Executive Director (appointed on 15 June 2020)
Mr Grylls join VII with a resume of 16 years in public office in Western Australian government as a Member of Parliament and over 10 years in various business consulting engagements before and after his political career.
